[with Bismillah]
Surah Fatiha:
“In the name of God, the infinitely Compassionate and Merciful.
Praise be to God, Lord of all the worlds.
The Compassionate, the Merciful. Ruler on the Day of Reckoning.
You alone do we worship, and You alone do we ask for help.
Guide us on the straight path,
the path of those who have received your grace;
not the path of those who have brought down wrath, nor of those who wander astray.
Amen.”
Rasulallah (sa) teaches us Surah Fatiha. In there Allah talked about the straight path. Straight path means a road that is straight not zigzagged, isn’t it?
Now question is, what is that straight path? Let’s start on the straight path.
Allah answering this in Surah Fath: “Indeed, those who pledge allegiance to you, [O Muhammad] – they are actually pledging allegiance to Allah. The hand of Allah is over their hands. So he who breaks his word only make harm to his soul. And he who fulfills that which he has promised Allah – He will give him a great reward.” [48:10]
Here, Allah is saying that the allegiance to Rasulallah (Sa) is referring to the allegiance to Allah. Straight path. And the person who committed allegiance to Allah, Allah’s Hand is on his hand.
Ya Allah, you are not bound to any shape. So, who’s hand are you referring to? Who’s allegiance you are saying is your allegiance? We should think.
So, when Allah Himself is deciding who’s hand should be His Hand, who’s allegiance should be His allegiance. Then He, Himself, has the authority to choose who’s hand should be HIs Rasul’s hand, who’s speech is his Rasul’s speech, who’s face resembles His rasul’s face. If these are the qualities, then the allegiance will pass on. Otherwise, this allegiance will not last.
Now, how this allegiance we will find? Straight and easy path. Rasulallah (sa) says at Gadhir-e-Khumm, “God is my Master, and I am the master of all believers. WHOEVER I AM HIS MASTER, ALI IS HIS MASTER.” This is the straight path for the believers.
When this straight and easy path can be consumed by people then everything will be clear and easily understandable.
Now Listen carefully. What today’s many famous scholars, many degree holders and the people(whom society has given big places in it) think about this Rasulallah?
They have accepted that he is Rasulallah, he is Habiballah; he is nabiallah, he is Yasin, he is Taha and Muzammil. After accepting all these, they are saying that Allah made His Rasul just a caretaker of Khanae Ka’ba! This is their thought.
Now, I am reciting from the Quran and find out what Allah made him. In Surah An-Nisa, Allah says,
“Or do they envy people for what Allah has given them of His bounty? But we had already given the family of Abraham the Scripture and wisdom and conferred upon them a great kingdom.” [4:54]
So, what Allah made him, a caretaker or a king with a great kingdom? we need to understand here that who is the giver here. The giver is Allah himself, who has an unmeasurable and uncountable bounty. When Allah is saying that I give them a great kingdom. Here, Allah, the king of all the kingdom and creations is giving the great kingdom to his most beloved (SA), then He has given a status making His Rasul(Sa) a grand king of that mighty kingdom.
Here, it is a matter of thought that What Allah is saying in the Quran and what meaning the scholars/mollahs are spreading to us? What a funny thing they are saying! Are they not disrespect their own Rasul? Are they not disobey Allah’s Ayat? Are they not derailed us from “Siratul Mustakim (straight path)”? Are they not bringing sin on them?
Secondly, all the scholars call the Rasul (Sa) a ‘Ummi’. Now, let’s check what Allah is saying about that.
Al-Jumu’ah (Friday) [62:2]
“It is He who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom – although they were before in clear error“.
So, Allah says in this verse that among the unlettered people, He ha18s sent a Rasul who looks like you and read my verses to you, purify you from your impurity and teaches the Quran and wisdom.
This ayah is also supporting another Quranic ayat which is called Ayat-e-Tatheer from Sura Al-Ahzab. In that ayat Allah says,
“Allah intends only to remove from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet’s] household, and to purify you with [extensive] purification.” [33:33]
In this Ayat, Allah is telling people that Allah blocks any impurity from Rasul and Rasul’s family. He makes them so pure that they become complete sinless ‘Noor’.
General idea about this verse among today’s people is that Allah takes out impurity from the inside out. That is totally wrong. By this Ayat, it easily understood that whoever keeps a gap between them and himself is impure.
By this, Ayat-e-Tatheer[33:33] compliments and seconded the Ayat [62:2]
So, Allah says he has the book and wisdom but you disagree by saying ‘ummi’ (unlettered)! Allah says he is king but again you disagree by saying he is caretaker!
Are those scholars are showing us the straight path?
Let me remind you again from the Ayat 48:10 and 4:54 (make a connection between these two Ayats from the Quran). Allah made him(sa) a great king with a great kingdom. Now, try to understand this. Allah says that I made him(sa) such a King to whom I gave him my hand. His eyes are My eyes, his speech is My speech, his face is My face. Now, which king are you looking for?
Will you again say he is a caretaker or ummi?
Tell me, to whom Allah gave His hand? Then whoever got Allah’s hand, what remains impossible to him? Now, if you still call him caretaker? Then what to say?
At this point, I need to ask, where is this hand now? Where we can find it?
“Haja Habuballah Ma’atafi Hubbullah” – That hand is in the shrine of Khawaj Moinuddin Chishty. With that he is ruling.
It is only the change of names, the ‘Noor ’ is the same. Noorullah. Noor-e-Rasul(Sa).
And, wherever the Hand is, I will go there and pledge the allegiance.
Then this allegiance would be the allegiance to Rasul (Sa). It is not the allegiance to a peer who says it is their allegiance. By that, he will be in total wrong. That kind of allegiance is wrong.
When some peer took his last breath, their followers say that our peer is dead we cannot go and take allegiance to some other peer. But Allah says in Surah Fath: “Indeed, those who pledge allegiance to you, [O Muhammad] – they are actually pledging allegiance to Allah. The hand of Allah is over their hands. So he who breaks his word only make harm to his soul. And he who fulfills that which he has promised Allah – He will give him a great reward.” [48:10].
Here, we need to understand what is the meaning of fulfilling that promise. Allah says in the Quran, fulfill Salat, not saying just pray and leave it. You have to continue it to fulfilling it. Like this, we have to keep our promise ongoing and do not break. We need to find out a person who has this authority.
Huzoor Garib Nawaz tough us, “I bear witness that there is no god but God and I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of God”.
He is Garib Nawaz (patron of the poor), because of not giving food to a hungry person or because of not distributing clothes. Even you can do that. By that do you think you are the Garib Nawaz? No.
Also, you need to understand who is poor here. Poor is he who possesses no knowledge. Until Rasulallah (Sa) did not arrive in this world, all were poor, illiterate. As soon as Allah send him, he made everybody knowledgeable by saying “La liaha illallah, Ana rasulallah”. That ‘Garib Nawaz’ made him (Hazrat Moinuddin Chishty) a ‘garib nawaz’ by sending him to the Indian subcontinent.
He called everybody to say, “I bear witness that there is no god but God and I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of God”. He served every poor with the knowledge that made him “Garib Nawaz”.
Hazrat Moinuddin Chishty became Garib Nawaz because Allah and His Rasul had given that wisdom which was mentioned in the previous ayah in Surah Al-Jumu’ah (Friday),
“It is He who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom – although they were before in clear error.“[62:2]
If we wanted to understand more, continue reading.
People are saying he is Ummi, people are saying he is caretaker! But what Allah has given by Himself to his Rasul?
Take the whole Quran. There are 30 chapters in the Quran. In those 30 chapters, there is no place for verses of AL-Fatiha. The place for Fatiha is just the top among those verses, that is why it placed at the beginning of the Quran.
In Surah Fatiha, we need to understand that, Allah is the Lord of all worlds, the Compassionate, the Merciful and the Ruler on Judgement Day. Then, Allah is teaching people to ask for help and guidance to follow the path of those people to whom Allah has given favour. Although Allah is not saying the people follow my path. Because following them is easier and straight for us; in other words, following them is following Allah.
So, who are the people? And, what was the favour Allah talking about? As we, by now, know from Surah An-Nisa 4:54 about what Allah is given to his Prophet (sa)?
1. The divine book,
2. wisdom,
3. A mighty kingdom.
Allah has given the Book and wisdom and a mighty kingdom to the family of Prophet Ibrahim. We all agreed that our prophet is from the family of Prophet Ibrahim and the members of the family of Rasul(SA) have the same lineage.
People just degrading the status of Rasulullah (SA) by saying “Ummi”. They do not know the status of Rasulullah in the eyes of Allah. He is not Allah but the direct “Noor” of Allah.
We do not understand why people just agreed that he is Rasulallah, Habiballah, Taha, Muzammil, Ya sin (only by the words), but they are not ready to accept that he has given (by almighty Allah) the divine book with wisdom so that he can purify people.
Allah makes His Mohammad the “Wise” with the Quran and the king with a great kingdom. What kind of king did Allah make him?
Allah answers this in Surah Fath: “Indeed, those who pledge allegiance to you, [O Muhammad] – they are actually pledging allegiance to Allah. The hand of Allah is over their hands. So he who breaks his word only breaks it to the detriment of himself. And he who fulfills that which he has promised Allah – He will give him a great reward.” [48:10].
If we accept the Quran, then we must follow the Quran. If we accept allegiance to Rasulallah then we must keep it like this till our death. Otherwise, we make ourselves guilty in front of Allah.
More About the statue of Hazrat Mohammad (Sa):
(Our beloved Master is continuing…) The second thing I cannot understand ‘people’s views’ on Baitullah and Rasulallah.
People have their houses and everyone and every house got so many Qitab (Books) in those. People accepted that when they say Qitabullah that means the Quran and when they say Baitullah which means the Ka’ba. They accepted that the Quran is not an ordinary book and Ka’ba is not an ordinary house. The importance of the Quran and the Ka’ba to the people remains because those are not the ordinary matter of this world, those are connected to Allah.
But, when they talk about Rasulallah, they just pretend he is like them! Rasulallah like Baitullah and Qitabullah connected and related directly to Allah. He is not an ordinary person. He brought these to us and teaches us his importance. Allah teaches us through the Quran.
As people do not understand this, now, Rasulallah (sa) himself teaching us about his high status to us by the following incident.
First Azan was called by Hazrat Bilal (RA) in Medinah and he used to do that facing Ka’ba by the decree of Rasulallah (sa). But when Rasulallah came back to Makkah, he ordered Hazrat Bilal (RA) to stand on Ka’ba and do Azan. When Bilal stood on Ka’ba then he was clueless about the qibla(facing). He asked the prophet what to do now? Rasulallah (sa) ordered Bilal to make face towards him.
What people will understand by this? We should accept that like Qitabullah, Baitullah, Rasulallah is tightly related to Allah Himself. Rasulallah (sa) is the qibla of the qibla.
Still, you cannot accept the status of the Mohammad (sa)! Whether you are jealous of him or just do not like his status, you are not just helping yourself. Because Allah has already given this to him as he gave to Ibrahim(AS).
Jazakallah.
